Origins & history
Ralph Lauren introduced his Home collection in 1983, extending the narrative approach of his clothing into complete living environments. Early collections drew on English craft, New England heritage, the Caribbean and American country life. Furniture, textiles and decorative objects were brought together as a coherent world, establishing an approach in which a room tells a story through the way its pieces are combined.

Vision & philosophy
The focus is a distinctive way of living rather than a single furniture style. Each collection starts with a narrative, developed through references, materials and atmosphere. A design can draw on an English club, a city apartment or a relaxed country house while sharing an emphasis on comfort, character and the emotional familiarity of a well-composed home.

Style & materials
Leather club chairs, generous sofas, dark woods and tailored details sit alongside more relaxed and modern collections. Tufting, nailhead trim and carefully shaped timber can give familiar forms a distinctive identity.
