01
Origins & history
Baker’s story began in 1890 as an American cabinetmaking business. Over time, its furniture developed through an interest in historical forms, skilled making and collaborations with designers. The collection now moves between classical references and contemporary pieces, with seating, tables, cabinetry and bedroom furniture developed around a consistent attention to proportion and detail.
02
Vision & philosophy
The brand’s approach is to develop furniture with lasting visual and material quality. Designer collections offer different interpretations of that aim, while tailored upholstery and considered finishes allow each piece to take on a particular character. Craft is expressed in how components meet, how a surface is finished and how comfortably a design inhabits a room.
03
Style & materials
Baker spans polished traditional furniture, restrained contemporary forms and sculptural designer pieces. Wood grain, finely drawn edges and upholstery carry much of the expression. The Jensen collection provides a quieter example, interpreting Scandinavian modernism through warm finishes, clean outlines and tactile details suited to coordinated living and dining spaces.
